WSDL Options

Zoran:

Again, the code you have for us is great!  It's greatly appreciated!

By using the WSDL web service, is it possible to display the products listed for certain clients?  Here's the idea:

A client is added into the CRM.  That client can then log into the PHP site, and do several things:

  • Add other users
  • View current products based on category
  • Export current view
  • Search products
  • Update only specific fields

The client has an existing portal that is built in ASP.  They would like to convert this to PHP so that they can add to it down the road.  Your code seems like a great starter set for them.  I just wanted to see if these other items are viable, seeing that you know the web service very well.

As always, you're answers are greatly appreciated!

Hi Joel,

The answer is yes.

Although I don't think you would like for the clients to create users but more likely contacts.

  • Add other contacts  - Yes (It's already implemented)
  • View current products based on category  - Yes (You should create the respective RetrieveMultiple Query for this)
  • Export current view  - Yes (You can use some of the PHP Excel Libraries to export the view)
  • Search products  - Yes (You should create the respective RetrieveMultiple Query for this)
  • Update only specific fields - Yes (You can use the UpdateEntity.php script)

Zoran
